Dublin Airport is the bustling entryway to Ireland's vibrant capital and the rest of the Emerald Isle. Whether you’re a first-time visitor or a seasoned traveler, navigating through Dublin Airport can set the tone for your entire trip. Established in 1940, it has grown from a small airfield to Ireland's primary international gateway. Initially serving as a military base during World War II, the airport expanded rapidly in the post-war years. Terminal 1 opened in 1972, followed by the more modern Terminal 2 in 2010 to accommodate increasing passenger traffic. Over the decades, Dublin Airport has continually evolved, reflecting Ireland's growth as a major European hub. Today, it handles over 30 million passengers annually, offering flights to destinations worldwide and playing a crucial role in the country's economic and tourism sectors.
