All Ireland Football Final 2024 – Galway v Armagh

While lots of eyes will be on the opening of the Olympics in Paris this weekend, most Irish ones will be on the showcase event of the GAA calendar in Croke Park on Sunday as Galway and Armagh face each other in the All Ireland Football Final.

If you are visiting Dublin this weekend, its definitely something to try and savour. Even without tickets, just heading up to the Croke Park area or your local pub will give you a great flavour of what its all about!

Both teams are confident after their impressive semi-final victories—Galway defeated Dublin, and Armagh overcame Kerry. This sets the stage for an exciting showdown at Croke Park. Armagh last won the title in 2003, in fact that is their only ever All Ireland title. Galway have won 9 titles overall, their last one in 2001.
